Weekends in Alice Springs seem to go for much longer than weekends in the city. I think it might have something to do with the long, sunny days, or maybe it's the proximity of everything. Or a combination of both, more likely.
This weekend contained everything from an opening of a Roy Lichtenstein exhibition, to netball, gardening, a hen's night, Sunday markets, live music in the botanic garden, swimming, visiting friends and lazing around in the hammock. Oh, and of course the obligatory uni work (an online catch up/group assignment planning session) and a tiny bit of housework.
It might only be a small town, but there's no shortage of things to do here in Alice Springs.
