Stills: Spring has arrived. The garden/animal/baby edition.

The weather this weekend was delicious early spring sunny and warm; perfect for sprucing up the veggie garden and plant some new things, including zucchini, cucumber, lettuces and kale. The silverbeet is still going strong. The beetroot wasn't so good; despite the leafy foliage, the actual roots were tiny. Something to investigate next time around.

1. Adding some new soil.
2. Taking shape! Tomatoes are planted in large pots.
3. Kale from the local garden guru.
4. Missy; always close by or lying at my feet when I'm at home.
5. My sister's big furry dog, I mean horse, Earl.
6. My niece being tickled by her Nana, my mum.
7. Books! Partway through this furniture rearranging session.
8. Finishing the weekend with a cider in the late afternoon sun at our local spot.
