Other places: It's a sign.

Wandering around in Puerto Galera and Sabang, I was constantly noticing signs and murals, whether it was the quirkiness of wording, faded patinas or vivid colours. Here are some that I snapped, either on my Nikon or iPhone (and edited in VSCOcam app). I hope you like them!

  1. The Rock "en" Roll Bar on Mouelle Pier, Puerto Galera.
  2. Crazy snakey neon lights going on, found along a backstreet, Sabang.
  3. Beautiful deep blue and strangely worded text on this diving mural, Sabang.
  4. Another odd but eye-catching diving poster, with an anti-littering message, Sabang.
  5. Local design/construction business, Sabang.
  6. My favourite of all the signs and murals. The wall has an opaque wash that veils the original painting. Another diving mural in Sabang.
  7. Funky and bright, part of a mural in the locals' market street in Sabang.
  8. Hardware store, Philippino style.
  9. A warning and a plea from the heart. Mouelle Pier, Puerto Galera.
  10. I love the monochrome of this photo; this building stood out amongst all the pinks, purples, yellows, blues and - of course - dreamy green.
  11. I couldn't walk past Palangaa's, an empty food outlet at White Beach. Love the dreamy green chairs against the concrete wall.
  12. This sign makes it pretty clear you must not have a picnic behind this fence. At White Beach.
  13. Vivid blue advertising the coldest beer in town and excellent food, at Sabang. We sampled the beer but skipped the food.
  14. Lemon yellow for Rafael's Inn at Sabang. I wonder if anyone stays there?
